Overheating issues after changing timing chain...
#11
i would be rechecking the timing for sure just to be safe. because there is suck a thing as advancement meld down. we do it to the race engines some times. then we are trying to build loads a tq for short road courses. advanceing the timing mean that the motor doesnt start burnign fuel until its almost to the bottom of ehaust strok (at 16 degrees anyway) this will make it run like a bat out of hell. but will also run hot. mine it advanced about 5 degree with the computer and it runs just over 210 with a 180 stat it in. also the timing can only truely be set with a computer. because the cam and crank corlation needed.

You would be amazed at how easy it is to talk your local firefighter into using one of their toys...that is if they aren't eating, sleeping, or playing PS3.
And yeah I feel all the issues are with my radiator and the timing is set correctly.
