Default My 99 durango wont start now.....

I have a 99 durango with the 5.2. I went to leave work and it started for a split second and then died. Now all it does is crank but wont fire. Any ideas?

I tried that and it didnt help. I can not hear the fuel pump so i tried to release the pressure on the fuel rail to see if there was any pressure and not even a dribble of gas came out. So im thinking fuel pump went out. What do you guys think?

Do you have gas in it ?, sorry but you would be suprised ! , check your fuses. Was it running ok on your ride to work ?

Yes there is gas in it and i even added more just to be sure the gauge didnt go haywire. Yes it was running just fine on the way to work. I checked the fuses and they looked fine, i also swapped the relays around and still nothing.

if you have no fuel pressure, and the fuel pump relay and fuse are good then i would start checking wires, IMO its more likely a wire came loose all of a sudden than the fuel pump going out, but anything is possible, the pump definitely should be audible when you turn the key on.

I'd try spraying some starting fluid directly into the TB to see if it tries to start. If it does, you have fuel issues. Did you **** anyone off? A buddy of mine that works in retail security had a guy arrested the other day; the very next day he then ended up with a gas tank full of something other than gasoline. Hope this isn't the case...

Sounds like a fuel pump. Turn the key to the run position and check the fuel rail port for pressure, if none replace it.
