Default Help! Information Center has gone dark...

The information center on my 2001 durango blinked a couple of times and then went dark. It doesn't indicate if my seatbelt is off, a door is ajar, etc. Those aren't big deals, but I might need to see my check engine light or something some day. The rest of the instrument cluster appears to be working fine - my brights, blinkers, odometer all work fine. Headlights, interior lights all work fine too. Any ideas and if so, is it something I can do or does it need to go to a shop? Thanks!

communication. The VFD will also display various
information used in several diagnostic procedures.
Refer to the appropriate diagnostic information for
additional details on this VFD function.
Both VFD units are diagnosed using
