Default Power steering leak ?

First off i read through the many other power steering leak threads. I have a 03 durango R/T 5.9L. Never had any PS issues previuos, yesterday i left my car in a lot in the sun and when i came back it was real low.
I filled it, drove it home, and it seems to be leaking somewhat quickly from the lower line behind the pump. Whats my first move?

First you need to look at the fittings on the pump and find out if it's the hose leaking or a cracked fitting. In other words you need to wipe off the area and find the EXACT source of the leak. Then we can help you.

i agree with hydra, however i did (today of course) find that my power steering return line had actually rusted through and was leaking right at the steering gear (the hard line at that end)

Sharps, if you take it off and have a hose shop near by they can build you another for cheap.

02Rango, I think you nailed it. Remove the pump and get a new one or repair and rebuild. In your year you can use ATF+4 transmission fluid in there for replacement fluid. I would use Valvoline Fully Synthetic ATF+4.

That's ok, they can build you a new one including the hard line if you want it.
