I have a wiring harness that fixes that issue. I bought it from Retro-Solutions but before I installed it, I decided to do a projector retrofit and that came with its own harness.

I paid $55+ shipping. Never been installed. I will sell for $50 shipped. PM me if you want it.

I already made a relay harness but thanks anyways.

I got the headlights with the hids preinstalled from ilovebodykits.

If there was an exposed wire inside the ballast touching the case would it short out the ballast or maybe the bulb?

And this is why people around here don't use those POS headlights. Nothing but issues!

Pretty sure I see exposed wires on the right ballast on both red and black wires. Cover them with silicone or something.

The right ballast has a black wire with exposed copper, the left ballast seems like its on its way. Could this have caused the bulbs to blow out or just the ballast, or nothing at all?

How do I check the bulbs is there a way to test them with a multimeter?

Yes, that definitely could be the problem, and most likely is.

Could it be the bulbs or just the ballasts. How can I tell if the bulbs are bad
