Pretty much all modern engines have a hemispherical cylinder head design, opposed to an angular head, that's where the term HEMI came from. Although Dodge has trademarked the term, and has other nifty tricks, like dual spark plugs for each cylinder... etc.
Anyways, the 300, Charger and Challenger all share the same platform... Chassis, engine, transmission... etc.
Mine is a 5.7 - heard back from the bodyshop today, only about $8000 in damage. It will be fixed.

Charger and Magnum typically will not have quite the amount of electronics that a 300C does. If it's a 300C it has a 5.7. They did make an SRT too. I forget what years..I don't keep up with that stuff. Nice ride though. I'm sure you'll like the butt warming seats, express windows and all that if they can put humpty back together again.
You can still come here and get help even though it's a Chrysler

Yeah. This thing has pretty much every feature imaginable... Even the side mirrors automatically tilt down when you put the gear selector in reverse, just so you can make sure you're not curbing your wheels while backing out - or you know - running over and infant.
It's unbelievably loaded... I honestly can't wait to have it back. It's been gone for 2 weeks and I doubt they've even started to work on it.
