Brakes are a lot better over the drums. Only thing is, my booster leaks, so I need another one before I get the full effect.

I plan on ordering a rebuilt one I found online, once we get back from Cozumel in a few weeks.

Plus I love the look through the rear rims.

Hate to bring up a dead horse guys but quick question!

I have a friend that just killed his 03 D. He is parting it out and said he would give me his rear axle for $50!
My question...I don't use my E-Brake ever. In fact mine isn't hooked up because it was causing my rear's to drag(spring problem). Do I have to hook up the ebrake Or can I just unbolt everything and throw the 03 in no problem?
Also what gears came with the 4.7L in 03? He had a sxt if that helps any...Just seeing if I need to swap my rear gears as well as I have the 3.92...He also has an LSD and the brakes have 90% pad and new rotors!

in 2003 the same two options were available for rear end gears (3.55 OR 3.92, you will need to check)

everything should bolt right up just fine, some have speculated that the distribution block would need to be replaced as well in order to remove allow the pressure to completly release on the rear brakes, but i have no confirmation on this.

Got it...I dont remember if they do, but do the rear axles have a mark or number on them to check? Or do I have to pull the cover and count the old fashion way?

normally there is a tag on one of the bolts, if that is missing just turn the wheels and count how many times the driveshaft goes by.
