Default oil leak mystery

ok I have 2001 4.7 2wd with just over 100k. noticed a drip and its not coming from the block but somewhere in the grill/bumper and I cant see where its coming from so before I start taking it apart I was hoping to get some incite on what it could be and or what to look for. not new to working on cars but is my first dodge. Thanks John

Sounds like you found the problem, unfortunately its the way you found it........
Hopefully its just a hose.

Not really? Antifreeze has a different smell and should be green I think in that year. ATF is red and has a different smell.

Depending on the hose, you might be able to have some new ones made at a hose shop like EVCO or a local shop. Also I have seen them in auto parts stores, dealer, and ebay.
