Default 4.7L V8 Exhaust Ideas

I have recently bought a 2001 Durango with all the bells and whistles (love the heated leather seats lol). Of course, as the title says, it has the 4.7L V8 in it.

What are some recommendations for an exhaust system. For the moment I'm just looking for a muffler (or lack of muffler whatever sounds awesome haha).

Later on I do plan to spend some money for a cold air intake and exhaust system though.

Do a home brew CAI and a cat back exhaust system. If all you want is loud then go to a glass pack instead of a muffler.

Youtube Dynomax glass pack durango/dakota 4.7L and you'll get a pretty good idea of what that sounds like. In one of my other active threads I Hydra and I along with a couple others have been discussing this. Heres the link. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...h-exhaust.html Theres a link in there that has sound clips of every dynomax muffler/glass pack they offer, though they strap them to a 8.2L crate motor, they all still sound great. I'm getting ready to install a 28" Dynomax Thrush Glass Pack this weekend. For $45 its worth a shot vs $600 for a whole system.

My glass-pack is quieter than most mufflers, but it is a 30incher.
