I rebuilt the 46RE in my 1500 Ram. Extremely simple, I didn't put a whole lot of money in mine and preobly didn't buy the best parts due to money constraints but none the less I still have a strong transmission. I tow a 30' coachmen in the summer not far from home but still works the truck dry weight on it is 6900 and I haul it loaded. Go check out the ram section on this forum a lot of good info on the 46RE there. I bought my service manual and trans-go shift kit from transmissionpartsusa.com 2 or 3 yrs ago.
