I noticed this nipple up around the throttle body. I don't see any hoses hanging out. Anybody know what goes here? The picture was taken from the driver's side. Hmmm. Maybe my transfer case vent hose can fit on there?

I have just looked at my Dakota with a 4.7 and it seams to have just a plug ( a cover on it ) not connected to anything. I would plug it hopefully some one else will chime in that has a 4.7 in a D.
It looks like that nipple is part of the throttle body. Looking around at pictures of 4.7's it appears that some have a plug there and some have a hose. I wonder if it's for California emissions. I searched Hayne's and the service manual, and looked at about a million google images of throttle bodies and engines. Just can't tell where the other end of that hose is leading. I probably overlooked something obvious.
Hey, would it be possible for anyone to put up a picture of where that hose goes? All those little hoses on my D were all out of place. I have everything straightened out except that one. I figured out that when I put a plug on the end (brilliant!) the engine dies, as that nipple sucks in air. I'm thinking that leaving it how it is will end up putting a bunch of dirt and dust into the system. I can't seem to find any pictures or information pertaining to the hose. Can't find a hose anywhere or even the other nipple for that matter.
