Default 2nd choice for gear oil...

So I was all set and ready to go get my mobil 1 75w-90 gear oil and come to find out...no one in town sells it anymore...
So I have found three brands a I know
1. Royal Purple-$20 a bottle
2. Valvolene(sp?)-$13 a bottle
3. Lucas-not sure on price but around the same...
So which should I go with? I was going to go with amsoil but you have to order it and I am doing the diffs this weekend...
Anyone?

your 1 and 2 should both work fine, the royal purple is probably synthetic based on the price and valvoline is probably not, id go with the royal purple myself.

also dont forget friction modifier if you have a limited slip rear

I got the friction modifier thankfully...took awhile to find it though.
But another one came up...castrol syntec full synthetic? It is at shucks for 10.99 a bottle and I may go with that just because of the price unless someone really thinks it is god awfull or something?
