Plug wire questions...
So has anyone tried these?
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TAY-84276/?rtype=10
Mopar is 7.5mm, these are 8.2mm...would seem like these would be better but wanted to see what you guys think...

I would think it would kind of be like fuses in a fuse box, if the plugs and wires leading to the fuse call for a 20amp fuse, putting a 30 amp fuse in the box is pointless and dangerous, the plug and the wire can't handle it. I mean putting aftermarket more or less racing wires on a stock engine with a stock cap and stock plugs, the plugs and cap can't really handle it and it would be pointless and possibly catastrophic.

8mm is the ideal and recommended buy us wire size for these trucks
the 8.2 will be fine, some even run 8.5, it give you better, stronger spark, which gives you more complete burn of the fuel, which equates to more power and better fuel economy (slightly, based on the fact that you need less throttle for the same power)
as long as you change your plugs every 30k miles for copper plugs you will be fine.

Oh shrp lol, as I said in my post, it was my opinion and belief, of course I was writing it at 3:13am. I thought the recommended was 7.5 due to mopar wire being 7.5. I am going and getting 9mm now!! HAHAH! no no, I guess I was wrong, 8.2 will be fine, I side with shrp, he hasn't led me wrong yet!

I've been running these wires http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-867815/
with this coil http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ACC-140021/ for the past few years and have been very satisfied.

I used this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ACC-140021AH/ although I almost decided to splice it in because I thought it was kind of pricey for a 3" jumper, but oh well. As far as mileage goes, I've pretty much got the calibration of my overhead down to being 2.4 MPG on the generous side vs pen/paper. On occasion on my way to work and back (to account for any slight elevation change)there are some nice long level stretches and I try to hold my speed at 70 mph and watch the overhead. During this time I experience anywhere between 21 and 25 mpg for the entire 2-3 mile stretch. I also reset the overall avg, 22 miles each way, and experience 14-18 depending on my aggressiveness.
My D's mods/stats: 2001 5.9 SLT+ PT 4x4, tow package, 3.55 gears(I know-strange combo),Hypertech flash set for 89 octane, AEM performance intake, Roadmaster Active Suspension (helper springs for towing), front mounted class IV receiver, and the above mentioned coil and wires.
