Yes, I need more help...
Belts brand new, tensioner is fine, when I tear down the engine this weekend hopefully, I will look at all the pulleys. The gauge only take 15 seconds and its all the way, so I know its not the catching part, I am thinking maybe connections as stated before might be correded. I will check that as well. And the blueish smoke, its only a puff on SOME starts, not all, so if there is oil usage...its minimal to where i can't see it.
A hint of advise, if you already think you know the answer to your own question then don't ask the questions. If you ask a question (because you obviously don't know the answer) then come out and tell us that were wrong, especially and uneducated answer, you make people not want to help you and cause ignorance.
Sorry to bust your ***** on this, but it's obvious you don't know quite what you are talking about.

Never said I know what I am talking about, I am giving the information I have found to see if anyone else has heard of this and knows it is true. Certain things I do know about my truck, like i KNOW the belt is catching like it is supposed to, and I KNOW it is not condensation, but smoke, and I KNOW my truck is not showing signs of oil usage. I asked a question, I received advice and if you read my posts, I am taking the advice just wanted some more info on effects of this items going bad.
And if you read a later post, I do apologize for snapping back at his post, just tired of everyone saying condensation, when I know it is not.

Have you looked at the plugs to see if it’s a possible valve seal leak on just one cylinder? I do realize that depending on where a gasket leak is it may just affect just one or two cylinders. But if, when you get the engine torn apart there is no evidence of a plenum gasket leak; you may want to think about getting those replaced while your half way there rather than tearing it all back apart if the new gasket doesn’t fix the problem.
Also as oil burns in the engine, the carbon deposits will increase the compression ratio in the cylinder and cause pre-ignition from the combo of the compression increase and hot spots caused by the insulating properties of the deposits lining the chamber. (Pinging and power loss)

That makes sense. Question, and I know this is going to sound dumb, how do I check for a valve seal leak? Of course tearing the engine completely apart basically is something I am not acustom too nor have I ever attempted to do. So it ought to be a fun task to try and take this all apart. I feel the engine does have a loss of power, but then again not sure, been the same since i bought it. but this could cause the rough idle and little bit of smoke. Have you heard of ths PCV valve trick? Not sure what pinging sounds like either...
Not sure about the PCV trick, I change mine about every other oil change though just to prevent any issues; for two bucks why not.
For the intake valve seal leak there will usually be the heavier black deposits on the plug. And if you pull the intake and can get a look down the runners, depending on how bad the leak is the valve stem may have some streaking or slight build-up. If it’s an exhaust valve you can pull the manifold and look at the valve. A leak on an exhaust valve will have a lot more build-up due to the oil burning on the valve and usually won’t leave much evidence on the plug or chamber.
BTW, Can't completely rule out a head gasket.
Pinging is normally heard when under load and sound a bit like metal on metal ticking… lol, kind of.

ok, well luckily no pinging then! Thats always a good sign!
It could possibly be a head gasket, but the usual symptons aren't there though. No oil in the coolant, no coolant in the oil, no overheating problems none of that. I just changed my plugs...hmm about 900 miles ago, used the chart in the back of the Haynes manual and that were normal just worn, I will pop the valve covers off this weekend and see if I can see anything, anyone wanna scan the Haynes Manual Pages on changing the Phlenum gasket for me lol?
Edit:
Its not an issue with the PCV valve persay, its more of using I guess that hole to figure out if there is build up of pressure like it is supposed to be, or if it is losing pressure through the leak in the gasket, I do feel my PCV valve does need replacing though lol, think it might be time, and my miss isn't all the time, its a VERY SMALL miss when idling, it might even just be the idle is rough and I am mistaking it for a miss...
Man, I thank ya'll for letting me know, guess I get to tear apart my truck and see what happens
OH! Before I forget, when I pull the fuel lines off the rails, will fuel come flowing out?

i have to ask this simply because its the obvious and i forgot to do it earlier.
how much oil does your truck use between changes??? do you have to add any oil to it btwn changes? how much?
if you get out what you put in within 1/2 a quart you are not using an abnormal amount of oil

Hey Shrp no problem man. I am not 100% on the oil usage, when I bought it I checked the oil and it was full but not sure if the guy before me put oil in it right before I bought it...I had an oil change a week later and it was still full. It has been about 1300 miles since the oil change and I have not had to add any oil as of yet...If I am using oil, then it is a minimal amount that I cannot detect, It has been about a week since I checked the oil, I will check it in the morning before I head to work and update then, but I am sure it will still be fine..but i'll let you know

I "pre" apologized for bustin your ***** like I said, but obviously you cant take a hint. So let me put this by you again as a second chance,
If your not going to listen to us and try to prove us wrong, or tell us what you've read on the internet and now you are a perfectly educated person that can answer your own questions, well your simply wasting our time and our resources.
A hint of advise, if you already think you know the answer to your own question then don't ask the questions. If you ask a question (because you obviously don't know the answer) then come out and tell us that were wrong, especially and uneducated answer, you make people not want to help you and cause ignorance.
