Default New stereo powers up but no sound

I looked at a million articles regarding this issue, but there are mixed answers.. I have the factory amp in my truck. I do not want to really bypass and run all new wiring. What wire is teh Amp remote so I can hook it up to the Blue/White wire?

Some posts are saying its Green? but I dont have a green whire.. ALso there was one cable i had to disconnect off the back of the factory radio that was only 2 wires on a single metal connector on teh back? Is this the amp wire or just aground wire? Please help..

No sound with a working head unit is usually no power to the Amp. Get 12 volts to the dark-green/red power on amp wire and let me know how that works.

I had the same problem connecting my new Pioneer stereo into my Durango. Connect the blue/white wire to the solid blue wire. I used an adapter that I soldered to the Pioneer wiring which allowed me to just connect the adapter to the Durango factory wiring. I got it and the receiver at Crutchfield...

I got it figured out :-) The Blue/White whire from the Radio plugs into the Solid blue wire on the harness. I am not able to listen to my Kenwood!! What a difference from the factory radio!!!

only the ones with the infinity sound have an amp, i believe that means only the SLT and SLT+ units (R/T falls in here too iirc) got the OPTION for it
