i have the Super 44 and I got clamps, and I beleive an 18" extension at either Auto Zone or Advance auto. I beleive I cut off about 2" and it worked great. Took less than an hour. The clamps that came stock on mine were rusted so bad they just fell apart with 1 good whack at them. I had to cut the stock muffler off with a muffler pipe cutter (forgot the name) and a hack saw. Now, at first the muffler wont sound too loud, but after about a week or 2 it sounds MEAN as Hell! I love mine! Get yourself a K&N drop in filter and she will breather better.

I've been considering that, but then you don't have the satisfaction of doing it yourself! Although at this point it seems like the best option. I've done all my repairs myself, but that stuff was just pop it out and put the new one in(for the most part). This will be the first mod on my D.

Crap, I thought the old muffler would just slide off (with a little persuasion) when the clamps were taken off. I was hoping nothing would have to be cut.

I 100% agree with that!

I have a buddy that owns a shop and he does all my exhaust work. He will custom build me a MagnaFlow system however I want it in Aluminized pipe for a great price overall. The last CAT-Back system I had him build on my old Rango ended up being like $270 bucks, but that was about 5 years ago. Now he uses MagnaFlow Stainless Steel mufflers and the same Aluminized pipe but you will never need new pipes. That stuff lasts a hell of a long time!

I agree that they're over priced too, but my dad bought my 3" stainless steel magnaflow cat-back that I have on it now before the truck was mine so I'm not going to complain.

I just checked and the magnaflow systems are over $600

That is crazy! $600 for just a cat back!! I didn't know they came out and installed it for you, while a hot chick rubs your shoulders!!! Geeze!
I am just going to buy the muffler and put it on myself...

I got my Flowmaster cat back at Summit for like $350 less than a year ago.
Throw our the clamps that come with it - go to Napa and get real ones.
An hour or so later she will sound nice!
