Guess there's nothing else to do but give it a try and see what happens. I think I'll try just putting them on the back and see what happens - seems like less risk of rubbing there since those wheels don't turn.
I just noticed the other day while airing up the tires on my new truck for the first time, I noticed it does have P265/75 R16s. It doesn't rub at all even when I turn the wheel til it stops in the parking lot. This is a 2001 4X4, no lift or anything.
It doesn't really matter what people are running, if it isn't set to factory height the truck might rub or not. My old 1998 was set to factory and still rubbed with 31 10.5 15's on it.
I have seen them many times sitting on the bump stops, or the T-bars cranked all the way down and the users still complain. The fact of the matter is, look at what they are rubbing on and make a decision on what will and can work overall for your rig. I mean we are discussing 70 to 75 ratios for hell sake, like there is much of a difference or something.
should be try them on the front know ones going to know until you try them out i know on my brothers 2wd my 265/70/16 barely fit the difference in the two tires sizes is 1" overall
The only way to find out for positive is to test fit, the place that installs the tires (if they are nice) will do this for free. Could you do that and settle this revvhigh...........
