Did you do cap? At less than 15k the contacts inside the cap were baked. Never seen a cap deteriorate so bad. That was a bosh.

The cam sensor is under the distributor cap, like where points used to be.

The crank sensor is on the passenger side rear of the motor.

Lol that works too. Go ahead and try the cap and the crank and cam sensors could be suspects let us know how it goes.

If nothing is getting power, check ALL connections to the battery. Not sure how those computers work (was it a OBD-II computer or one of those that connects and reads the engine performance) if it wasn't able to read the computer because it won't turn over, then I would suspect coil. Otherwise I would think your battery connections

I noticed the power cord to the alternator is cracked an looks like it has some built up stuff in it.Something keeps draining my battery so I dont know if that could do it or not.

as hydra said, crank and cam sensors. If you have spark, fuel, and power to everything. It sounds like a cranksshaft or camshaft sensor is not working properly.

IIRC, (and I can't remember which sensor does this, I am sure someone in here will know and tell ya.) but, iirc the sensor that does this will cause the truck to keep turning over and not catch because the sensor is not telling it when to catch. Will cause the truck to not start when this sensor is bad, relay bad, or even if the sensor is just unplugged.
