need help with my brake system
ok i went and pulled the other fuse and put the one back in that was in the dash, ty now it quit makin the noise... ty for your help your much better than the first guy that tried to help me, he didnt do me no good lol
Awesome topdog. Hope the problem isnt hard to fix. If you need any further help theres plenty of great and helpful users here like topdog.
unfortunatly it sounds to me like the abs controller has gone bad, however pulling the fuse as you did will stop it from cycling the pump constantly and draining your battery, it also disables your abs braking system so be careful if you drive in snow or on wet/icy roads as you will be able to lock up your wheels now.
(ideally you should have the system scanned in order to determine where the problem lies for sure)

It sounds like a classic ABS CAB failure. This is the name of that black module (Controller) that is staying on beside the brake master cylinder. You can disconnect it and drive carefully as you will not have ABS, but your brakes will act mostly normal. You can send the CAB in to a few places and have it rebuilt for about $150. There are a few places that will rebuild yours and send it back to you:
