Default need help with my brake system

I need help i was driving down to walmart today and my abs light and my park brake light came on. So when i stopped in walmart parkin lot and shut the truck off it was making a noise so i looked under the hood and the box that is beside the brake fluid box, was making a loud noise, and it stil made it when i turned the truck off. I turned truck off and pumped my brakes few times thought mybe that wuld help. but it didnt and the only way to stop that box from making the noise was to unhook the battery. Can someone help me i just had it in the shop to get another problem fixed and really cant afford to take it back.. its s 5.9 hemi 2000 dodge durango

Well it is not a 5.9 HEMI no such thing in 2000 D but it would help to know if you have 4 wheel abs or 2 wheel abs. the easiest way to tell. Dose the front wheel hubs have a wire going to the engine compartment? Have you done a brake job lately?

My best advice is to take to the dealership or a good indepent shop and have them scan the brake system. It is probably a sensor but you could tho money at this for some time but a scan will give a place to start. Good luck with this.

I believe its just the abs control box. Controls the abs and is connected to the different sensors in the system. Like stated above you can take the fuse out or just disconnect it.
