It is very expensive to buy a new one because after you buy it you also have to flash it in which a dealer must do this and that is an added fee. I would bet somewhere in the line of $400+ out the door. You are better off sending yours in and getting yours back. This way it's done, and done correctly, plus you keep your OEM parts. It is just simple plug and play.
Now there always is the swap methodology, however you have to find a Durango the same year as yours, with the same ABS system as yours, and same gearing as yours, and same engine type for it to be plug and play at a junk yard. This can be done but as you can see it is actually very hard to accomplish.

ty for the info hydra. yeah i just spent 500 havin it in the shop for another problem really dont want to b spending another 400+. And around here they are very hard to find at the junkyard with that same year plus same motor. Considerin i only have one junkyard in my city,next closest is 3 hours away lol and just dont have time to drive that far. i am lookin into getin it sent to b rebuilt gona phone around tmrw and find out. ty all you guys have been so helpful im so glad i joined here.
