Default 2002 Durango Fuse

Hi

Just bought 02 Dodge Durango and when we got it home hubby noticed that the high beam is not working. He was going to check the fuse box. He found the box but he can't figure out which fuse controls the high beam or the lights. He doesn't have the volt meter to check all fuses. If some one can tell us would be great.

Thank you

I'd think that would be the multifunction switch (turn signal, wipers, high/low switch) rather than a fuse.

I don't think there is a fuse for just high beams. Check to make sure the high beam in the bulb is good

Yup dual filament bulbs. Check to see that they arent burned out. Other than that it can be the multifunction switch. Is there a relay for the lights similar to the flasher on these trucks or no?

I believe there is a relay under the hood but I'm not 100% sure. It could be different tho since it has daytime running lights

There should be a headlight relay in the PDC under the hood. Look under the cover and there is a full diagram telling you were to look. Simply swap it with one of the same number like the horn.

Well I'm looking at the PDC in the service manual and it does not show a headlight relay???? And after reading the wire schematics it doesn't show it either???? At this point I would say either a multi-fuction switch or a bad fuse in the drivers side dash fuse panel at number #9.

Ya I actually went n had to look under my hood to see if there was a relay lol. I changed my fuses for both headlights the other day and didn't see it on the lid either.
