so at first the passenger side was being wonky and then it stopped, then the driver side etc and then the 2 rear windows now aswell, it would go down then i couldnt get it up (lol) for every window and they basically all stopped totally within about a month.

Any suggestions?

yeah, sounds like the drivers side master switch went bad. Replace it and you should be good to go

 

That's exactly what I was thinking but what's weird is that the window switches for each window on each door weren't even working aswell, so does that just mean that since the driver (main switch) is fried all the others are on the same circuit?

 

all the other switches have to go through the master switch (for the lockout function) so if the master switch stops working the slave switches won't work either. They should still be fine.
