keyless entry
i have tried to research this but everything i have found has not fixed the issue. i just bought a 2002 durango and it came with one keyless entry. after taking ti to the shop to replace one of my electronic control modules, that controls my lights, now the keyless entry does not work. it only came with one, so the instructions in the manuel do not help, what are my options? how do i fix this?
i have checked the batteries ans it has new ones in it

I had this problem. The on board receiver forgot the code from your transmitter and it needs to be re programmed. If you take it to the dealer it would probably cost you about $100 bucks plus "Labor". I went the right way and just had an auto start added. Thus giving me control of the locks, AND I can start it up in the cold months to help get the oil moving.

Whoa there! Adding aftermarket alarms and remote starts is NOT the right way to go. Yes it may be nice to warm up your truck in the morning, but those aftermarket systems can cause all sorts of electrical problems. It's really hit or miss with them and i would never tell any one that's the right way to go. Getting the oem system working is definitely the right thing to do. I'm not attacking you or anything, but there are much better options.
Now, you are right about needing the remote reprogrammed, but a locksmith will do it for around $20. If the module that was replaced was the ctm (which controls the locks) then they must have forgot to reprogram the remotes
