Default can i get a cheaper ctm?

$350 is steep for that....my heater, interior lights, power point, and security system are throwin fits. Decided to not use my key fob and its helping. I just can't foot a $350 bill quite yet but I don't wanna be stuck without heat in this NW Indiana winter

unfortunately no, its a dealer only part(at least thats the only place i have ever found them) since it needs to be programmed with all of your features, take both remotes with you for programming.

Installed... $350 is about 30%+ cheaper than expected actually.

Its 350 just for the module not installed does it sound like it is the module? The power locks, heater, dome light quit working all at once and every now n then I can shut the key off but the truck still runs!!

It does sound like a failing CTM however no one can ever be certain via remote online diagnosis.

Generally, they are dealer install only because of the programming to your key fobs, vin, miles, etc. $450 installed is a target price. I've seen $425 and I've seen $495 so roughly splitting the difference there.

Just an update guys

This morning I decided to tinker around and I grabbed the wires from one of the plugs and moved it around and wala everything started working. Is there a direct ground for this wire somewhere? Or what should I do at this point cause it isn't a permanent fix

My ctm went bad last year, so i took it out and blew the moisture on it with a air hose. Put it back in and haven't have problems since. ELectrical stuff is wierd sometimes you just need to press the reset switch. Although in theory the part is still bad, and can go on you at any time. However, considering that it is a 300-400 part, thats a risk id take.

Ya I'm not ready to replace. I think the connector is bad it looked like the pins weren't very good for connection anymore. I zip tied the wires and all good so far
