Default my blinkers wont blink

i know, i know do my research. but sometimes this is quicker and easier. like the title says. myblinkers dont like blinking all the time. i know it should be an easy enough fix but iv never had to deal with this before. so a little advice wont go amiss. what do i need to do to fix it and where is it located on the vehicle. 2000 dodge durango slt plus with the 5.9 and awd. thanks again.

Have you checked fuses, grounds, and connections? Is it all 4 that won't work? Do they light up on the dash? If so do they blink normally or faster?

If they blink a few times and shut off after a few seconds but the multifunction switch is still in the up or down position it may be the flasher.

i would say it is probably the multi-flasher, not sure where it is on the 2000s tho, if it is both sides that do it then the multi-function stalk may be the problem (highbeam/turn signal switch)
