Default Yes, the D is gone...

For those that have noticed, I got rid of the Durango!

I used it mainly for towing and was built rightfully so, but I got the dually with the diesel that tows much more much easier and is more fuel efficient. I upgraded the Durango (added the stroker, cammed it, etc.) and had it running nice but I got an offer that was too good to turn up so I sold it.

Used the cash from it as a down payment for my new 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 and I have to say, WOW! That 392 HEMI is a hell of an engine and really puts you back in your seat. So far I have added a Mopar Performance Cold Air Intake kit, ordered a set of Mopar Performance lowering springs and ordered a Mopar Performance handling kit which includes massive front & rear stabilizer bars.

I intend to add a Cam once one is released, stepped up to 4.56 rear end gears (ordered it with stock 4.10), MSD coil packs, MSD 6 HEMI Ignition Controller, and dyno it and performance tune the computer.

Here are some more pictures of the car, just bought it 2 weeks ago so it is still brand new.

You wouldn't believe it! I've had so many people while I'm driving take pictures of my car. It's a great car so far, I do miss the Durango though...

You need to race your old D and tell us who wins Cause iirc that had a 412 stroker you had about 500rwhp pushing that D. I would be an interesting race.

Yeah, luckily I sold it to a friend so once I'm done with the SRT I'll have a race. The Durango had 630 hp on the dyno, one of the fastest full sized SUVs you will ever see if you see it!

The SRT on the weighs in at around 4,300# and the Durango weighed around 4,600# (IIRC) and the SRT comes stock from the factory with 465 hp so I'm pretty sure once I'm done with it, it's going to stomp the Durango however at this point I'm confident the Durango would win.

I ran the D on the dyno and it rang up ~630 horsepower and ~670 ft/lb of torque (factory specs for the 5.9 is 250 hp and 345 ft/lb or torque), but I had about $12k into the motor and in the drivetrain. Overall, I'll be doing similar mods to the Charger so it will be a mean machine once I'm done with it. I'm hoping to achieve upwards of ~800-1,000 hp with the Charger.

Oh yeah and the Durango ran the 1/4 mile in 13 seconds!
