Default Switched my muffler

So i decided that the glass pack I had was a little too loud when coming home from work at 1:30 am. I can't really afford a flowmaster quite yet due to buying a new house, so I decided to run a thrush welded series, 2.5" in 2.5" out. I don have my tailpipe hooked up yet, its almost crushed closed in the bend over the axle, don't ask me how it got like this cause I have no idea. And I must say damn, the welded series is pretty loud! Although I do love the sound! Not bad for a $40 muffler. So far I've noticed some drone, but that's also cause its just dumped before the rear axle right now. I think here after I get settled in the new place, I'm going to run a flowmaster 44 with duals out the back. But I figure I'd let anyone know that's in the market for some rumble on a budget, go with a thrush welded series!

everyone told me to go with a flowmaster. But $100 for just the muffler was a bit much in my book. I went with a magnaflow that I got new of of craigslist,(some guy got it and never installed it). $40 plus the $40 to install at a shop...I love the sound. No drone at highway(cant hear anything over the m/t tires anyway) and its deep and mean around town.

Similar how mine is too. I have a welder but no pipe bender or anything of that sort so just throwin a muffler on is no big deal for me

No problem. I loved the growl of my glass pack, but a bit too loud for me drone wise. I'm gonna run 3" back with duals I think and keep it simple and sounded good. I'll try to get a video of the way mine sounds

I found a video on YouTube of how it sounds. Great video, I went to YouTube search and typed in "Durango thrush" and it's a before and after video

Has anyone had any expirience with the 40 depta flow from Flowmaster? Its supposed to be a toned down version of the 44 I guess... Seems like the best of both worlds to me but I never hear about it

From my understanding the Lower number the more aggressive and loud with flowmaster. YouTube has tons of videos with durangos that have flowmaster
