Default Electrical? No crank and repetitive clicking stumped!

First off I have a 99 Durango 5.2 4wd 136,xxx mile. Never had a problem before.
I'm no good at figuring out electrical problems. so today i shut the engine off after pulling up at the local scrap yard. And was going to move out of the way for the next customer. I went to start it and...."click" fallowed by more "clicking" even after the key was removed. (passenger side kick panel).
I checked the connections, cleaned and replaced where needed. fuses all good. Relays...the fuel pump relay and auto shut down clicked a few time then stoped. After towing it back home I was going to lock the door(w/fob) and would NOT work. I'm in need of help per this is my family only transportaion. Please HELP!!!!!!

+1 topdog.

Click, click, click is standard for no power. Check the batt and ALL connections from batt, to PCM back to starter.

Again battery or terminals are corroded. Clean the crap out of the terminals and have the battery load tested.
