Very nice looking D. I think a good body person could make those hood scoops look nice I was thinking about a pair. It does appear you have a 4.7L. Do you have coil over plugs or a distributor?
What suggestions do you have to make them look nice? ill have to accept the fact that i have a 4.7l then i guess. Well at least its the more economical engine lol, being 17 thats important to me i guess. But i still love it!
I looked and they also have the square ones, I didn't check it, the first numbers in the vin are 58, which are the numbers for the 5.9l, if it was 47 then it's the 4.7l
You may wanna check the "vin" again.... our trucks vins started with either 1B, 2B, 1D, or 2D......

Actually if they would have really wanted to round up they would have went to 6.0L then. 360ci=5.899L most conversions that have a not as important meaning round at the second decimal.

Well I would have them painted to match the hood. Also a body shop can find a better way then the tape that is holding them on. I have a friend in autocollision class that is awesome at painting. He did it for the cost of material when I hit a deer. Fixed my fender and grill for about $150.

Sounds good, but one thing I'm not sure if you can notice in the picture but the scoops are painted the same silver that the trim on the bumpers and the lower trim pieces are.
