What suggestions do you have to make them look nice? ill have to accept the fact that i have a 4.7l then i guess. Well at least its the more economical engine lol, being 17 thats important to me i guess. But i still love it!

You may wanna check the "vin" again.... our trucks vins started with either 1B, 2B, 1D, or 2D......

Actually if they would have really wanted to round up they would have went to 6.0L then. 360ci=5.899L most conversions that have a not as important meaning round at the second decimal.

If the dealership told u it was a 5.9, and you really want a 5.9, I'd tell em to shove it where the sun don't shine

there are coil overs (coild packs) on the spark plugs, its is definitely a 4.7l engine, the 5.9 has a distributor and plug wires

+1

If they said it was a 5.9L and it is actually a 4.7L and you wanted the 5.9L then I would take it back plain and simple. The contract is void.

Well I would have them painted to match the hood. Also a body shop can find a better way then the tape that is holding them on. I have a friend in autocollision class that is awesome at painting. He did it for the cost of material when I hit a deer. Fixed my fender and grill for about $150.

Sounds good, but one thing I'm not sure if you can notice in the picture but the scoops are painted the same silver that the trim on the bumpers and the lower trim pieces are.
