Hi All,

New member - Have a 2003 Durango 4.7 V8 2 Wheel drive. Was getting random misfires and after troubleshooting determined the computer was bad. Ordered a used computer that matched up to my VIN. How do I now go about programming this computer for the truck? Is it a dealer only process or can my mechanic do it / DIY? If a dealer is required what sort of range of price should I expect?

the dealer needs to do it, however if you ordered it from an online retailer and they asked for your VIN then chances are that they programmed it before they shipped it out.
