I bought mine about a month or 2 ago now for $3000. It's got 254,431 KM (158,096 MILES) on the clock. I haven't had to put nothing into it so far, cuz the previous owner bought it to fix it and sell it. Its got new wheel bearings in the front, all new rear brakes (aside from the drums), 4 new shock absorbers, new sway bar bushings front and back, new steering shaft, new pre-cat o2 sensor, 2 new exhaust manifold studs (2 were broken off in the head), new exhaust gaskets, and new tie rod ends. But because the po is a friend of mine, I only paid what he was into it for parts, plus the initial cost of the truck ($1,100 from an insurance salvage auction). I went from a 1993 Dakota v6 2WD to this Durango and I couldn't be happier!!

I have a 1999 Dodge Durango SLT Plus with the 5.9 Magnum that is clocking in at just over 240k. I had to change the entire cooling system (radiator, water pump, hoses, thermostat), mainly due to previous owner neglect right after I got it 5 years ago. Since then I have gone through 3 sets of tires, put on new shocks, ball joints, and both speed sensors. Other than that it runs like a freaking charm and eats mud and old roads like it was built for it...

I'll bump this. 220,000 miles. 1998 5.9L with original transmission and engine. Oil pressure is great, shifts smooth, rides nice.

Most everything I've replaced has been normal wear and tear: water pump, AC compressor, ball joints (lasted over 200K) front passenger side wheel bearing. The only oddities were a rear pinion bearing on the rear differential that went at 140K, and the steering shaft coupler that I replaced today.

Here's to reaching a quarter million!

Cheers, Bruce

Default 447,773 miles on a 2001 Durango R/T 5.9

Been having power steering issues for about a week. It's getting harder and harder to turn the wheel. Possible reasons? Original engine. (3 transmissions, though one replaced due to a wreck). Change oil religiously at 3,000 miles. Just replaced AC. I have replaced/repaired quite a bit of stuff, though most due to the high miles and it was just time. Body and interior in great shape! (Have had 3 driver side heated seats. I basically use year round, on high! Lol!)

Check the fluid level in the the reservoir first, but it might be the pump going bad.
