Who has the highest miles on their 1st generation Durango?

I just noticed this post. You said expensive tires? Maybe compared to a car, but 15in rim truck tires are the cheapest on the market! You get brand new mud tires from walmart for $135 a tire for wranglers, and $88 a tire for regular cheap-o 15's. Try that on any other truck or SUV. My 04 Yukon takes 180 a tire.
..anywho, tires can be expensive. All depends on what you want from your tire.
The tires I currently have on my Durango are $220 a piece. The ones on my fusion are $180 a piece.
But I go for premium tires and it pays off

End of the day, his Durango is an 01 same as mine and mine is nearly mint condition inside and out. His can be a total bucket with torn leather and rock chips. Yet I’m only at 180k miles..
It’s all about the motor in this case. I’m not sure if the tranny will disqualify though..

..well you did forget to notice he said he started driving it in 2008. Assuming he got his Ls at 16yr old, that would put him around 21yr old now. Odds are hes a young buck still trying to find his way in life with limited funds. ..anywho, tires can be expensive. All depends on what you want from your tire. Cooper discoverer atr class c in a 265/75r16 size. They don't make em anymore and hard to find. Lowest i found was $193 just now per tire.
4.5 out of 5 rating from 993 reviewers.

I have about 20k miles on these and still deep tread. Very impressed. However I think I'm going to swap them out for some duratrac from Goodyear. They are all season snow rated which will make my mountian travels easier when chain laws are in place.

For my 16in rims on my rams, I went with the Hercules Terra Trac A/T. I could pick up a set of 4 for $600. (285/75/R16) They gave me a pretty good 3,300 lb rating per tire. I believe they were the equivalent of a 33in tire? Please correct me if you know for sure. The terra tract a/t II has a 3750 lb rating per tire, but the 3,300 was enough for what I was towing, even with my 2500. Great tires guys, ya'll ought to look into them.

I've got about 130K on mine. I replaced the ball joints like just about everyone. Had the tranny rebuilt at about 110K and mostly just maintenance otherwise. Nowhere near you guys with 200K +. I'm not sure I'll get there. It uses a lot of gas but it's big and can tow and has 4WD for my wife in winter.
