My $13 BT OBDII scanner came in and connected to my Truck and loaded my Torque app. Awesome info. But some of it, I have to disagree! I entered the correct info on the program. 5.9 engine etc. When I went full throttle to test what the max HP it was reporting, it came back with something like 413 max HP. Somehow I wished that was so but realistically impossible with the mostly stock engine with minor upgrades!

Mine was way off too. I don't think it's actually getting that information through the OBD port, but rather is computing it based on the vehicles weight, acceleration, throttle position, and so on.
torque wouldn't read the codes off my truck or my nissan... other one would
that's weird. I've used torque on my Durango, my dad's Wrangler, and my mom's VW and haven't had an problems with it. I've never used droidscan, might have to give it a try.
For $13 bucks for the BT ODB transmitter and a $5 app for Android app, it's worth playing around to see what your engine is doing! I am trying to learn how to drive better to increase better MPG for my ride.
i may have to get one of these for me w/ the paid torque app, and one of the readers w/ the free app for my sister so that she can get and clear codes while she is out at school (5+ hours away)
