I downloaded droidscan today. It's a pretty good app and has a clean look. However, torque has a whole lot more functionality and it is customizable. It even has a vehicle test function that reads every sensor and displays readouts (works on my friend's explorer, not on the D though). I'm sticking with torque.

droidscan does to but it doesn't try to fudge a torque reading that's inaccurate

The option that was not working on my D was the one circled in red (Mode $06 ). However, it started working since the last update.

The next screen actually shows a failed test in the mode $06 scan . I have not been able to find a way to translate it without forking out cash. Apparently Chrysler is one of the manufacturers that still holds this info pretty tight in order to increase revenues.

I got a reader delivered today, and have to admit that it is pretty cool. I have not purchased either OBD Droidscan or Torque Pro, but have been playing with Torque light and like what it has to offer. Has anyone managed to (is it even possible) get a transmission temp readout through either program? How about manifold vacuum pressure? Is there an opinion on which is better for towing? Do I enter the whole weight of my D and Trailer to get torque ratings or just the D... Oh how I love new toys!

That's a good question. I still haven't figure out how to use the MPG feature of this tool to compare with what it reads on the top console to see if it is more accurate.

I just got the update from Torque and will try to read the horse power readout again to see if it is more realistic with the upgrades I got. My last attempt, it said I was generating over 400hp.
