YGFA 8 Additional Gallons of Gas - someone once told me that its really rare (i never seen one) that a 33 gallon tank could be put in as a option.. i assume that's what this is.

The first 2 i have seen on every build sheet i ever seen...

 

I know my tank is only 20 gallon.

 

Actually I bet its a 25 gallon tank. 20 til the empty light and 5 reserve gallons. Post your whole build sheet if you don't mind

 

the standard tank in these trucks as 16 gallons (very rare to see, iv never seen one) the most often found tank is 24 or 25 gallons (some disputes exist) never heard of a factory 33 gallon tank

 

Im fairly sure my buildsheet doesn't have the 8 extra gallons of gas on it but I still have a 25 gallon tank

 

Almost all the trucks have 25 gallon tanks. Reason being is because a 16 gallon tank is impractical on a truck that gets around 12mpg average (or like 10mpg tops for me ). Never heard of a 33 gallon tank though! Or if you would like this guy seems to think that's how much gas it was delivered with... Believe what you will!

id what you are doing but i get more like 16-17mpg with mine. that said i agree the 24/25 gallon tank is much more practical.

 

I just did 1400mi shows 12.8 on trip. But 15-17 through KS. Its definitely 25 gal stopped at 300 miles said 8 til empty but that's a normal road tank 250 around town. I have 98 with Chestnut Pearl and never seen another.
