Anyway your front axle is a 194 FIA axle, and that is what you need to get the parts for, your rear is either a Chrysler Corporate 8.25, or the Chrysler Corporate 9.25. You can count the bolts on the cover as Sharps stated to figure out which one you have.

In 2000+ there was a change over to the new style front end, the C205F axle, and a few early 2000 builds got the 194 FIA. The main noticeable thing that you will see is that if it has a steering box then it is the 194 FIA, and if it is Rack & Pinion then you have the C205. But again the 1998-1999 and some early built 2000's had the 194 FIA, and 2000-2003 had the C205F.

Just putting that information out there. I use Yukon gears in my builds and Yukon bearings, or Timkin bearings. I only build my own, not other peoples.
Sounds like you had yourself quite the truck.

The front cross member is slightly in the way to get the front cover off. I just used a few extensions and went over the top of the cross member and that worked out fairly well.

The reason im not sure about going to the 411's is that i drive 30 miles a day. 25 of which is on the highway. How much would the 411's affect my gas mileage?

If your worried about gas don't change gears. Upgrade other things to inhance performance.

I run 35" w 3.92 wich brings it down to 3.55. I have power but not what it was with 31. Try a transmission shift kit. If its sluggish something's wrong. Your 1" tire size didn't effect it that much.

Not sluggish then cause my tranny works great. I guess slow would be a better word.

Well then sell the truck buy a car that disentangle weigh 5000lbs. Still beat hemi durangos all day. With 31s you should be breaking tires loose. I can get mine to with twice the tire. Maybe time for. Tune up. Might have to reprogram computer for tires.

I have slightly smaller tires and I can light them up. Get a little puff of smoke to sometimes. 31 tires are an inch bigger than mine and I have 3.55 gears and 318
