Default 3.92 gears

I have a 1999 Durango 4x4 and since ive put my 31's on it, its been doggish id like to put in 3.92 gears in in place of my 3.55's. I dont want to go to 4.10's because i do a fair amount of highway driving and would like to get somewhat-decent gas mileage. Ive found 3.92's for the rear but i cant seem to find any for the front, didnt someD's come from the factory with 4wd and 3.92's?

Well I run 35s with 3.92s and drops me to 3.55s. Not as frisky but can burnout still. That is 31 tow option stock 318 w recalibrated hypertech for tires.

Thanks, so the front is a dana 35. The rear is equal to a dana 44 correct? i came across a new set of dana 44 3.92 ring and pinion set on eaby for $39 shipped! but being im broke right now i had to pass it up.

No the rear is either a 9.5 I think our a 8.25. Or close. I wouldn't buy gears that only cost 40 bucks. New gears should be about 500. Don't skimp or you're gonna find yourself with a busted axle or carrier
