Surely someone has just replaced thier flasher ....right? I mean... the guy that started the post said he took it out....Did you replace it? Forming your own "idea" about how something "should" work isn't always correct. I think it is very possible that the flasher is malfunctioning even though the hazards still work. I would change the flasher. It's cheap and easy to do and it would have been the first thing I would have done without thinking another second about it. If that isn't it, then I would be stumped. Sometimes problems are created from the obvious and there is no need to make it more complicated than what it is.

 

Same thing for me. My turn signals went out as well as my hazzard lights. My head lights still work. I started having problems with my stereo first. The stereo was installed by a friend. I think my problem is tied into the wiring of the stero. I was told to bring in my vehicle for a diognostic charge of 138.00. I took my vehicle into a stero place for a security alarm to be installed but they told me they couldn't do anything on my suv. I don't want to be over charged by a mechanic if it's a simple fix.

 

Do the lights come on at all? Just not blink??
