Default Help!! Transmission issues!!

Filter and fluid has been replaced. Bands have been adjusted to specs. When I shift into reverse it takes five to ten seconds before it will engage. What could be going on? I also have a second to third gear shifting problem. I have to step on the gas and get it up to about 5,000 rpms and completely let off the gas for it to shift into third. All ofI these problems existed before the fluid change and band adjustment. Thanks in advance for all the help.

The most likely problem is the seals. Transmission seals don't like heat, So over time and mileage the seals get hard and start having leakage in the circuit. I would get a price on a overhaul master kit or have a transmission shop look at it.

Thanks for your input master tech!! The crazy thing about it is everything works great when it comes up to operating temp. I am sure you can shed some light on that too.
