Why these trucks don't bring any money?
I was at an auction today and this 2001 4x4 Durango came through. I certainly wasn't looking for one but it had a bedliner paint job which looked pretty cool. I put my hand up and got it for just about scrap value. It seems to run and drive good even though it has 200,000 miles. Why don't they bring any money?

Suburbans, Tahoes, Grand Cherokees also get lousy mileage but I never see them for under a grand in nice condition.

I never seen a Durango in nice condition go for under a grand either unless it was in certain situations. In fact the average is 4 grand. i'm just saying like sharps said in some areas they may not be worth while for that reason than others...

Same here, definitely not cheap trucks, even Cevy and Ford trucks aren't that cheap. And I see TONS of these 1st gens on the road, at least 6-10 a day.

I paid $900 for mine, and minus a few odds and ends, it's in great shape. I have about $300 in new parts, plan on about $400 more..I could still resell it and make profit on it easily. I have looked all over..depending on year and miles..even 200k still see's people asking about $3000..cheapest one I had found before buying mine was $1500, and the front end was blasted...
Only thing noticeably wrong was the steering shaft...it's 95% rust free..tailgate and front bumper has only rust...
