Default how do you detect limited slip?

how do you detect which durango has limited slip?where does it say and what does it say?? any pics? are durangos with it better durangos for offroad? also why is it no1 has front differentials for their D?

jack the rear end up and turn one of the rear tires. if they turn the same way it has a limited slip. if it turns opposite directions then its open. i believe thats right.... i may have open and limited confused but i dont think so.

if you have limited slip they wont turn with the transmission in park (at least my dads truck didnt)

Well yeah the truck has to have the front wheels blocked and be in neutral

Jack the rear, transmission in park. If you can't spin wheels, then lsd . . if you spin one, and the other goes opposite, then open diff. (or the clutches are shot)

Do it the easy way. Look at the sticker in the glove compartment and if you see ANTI-SPIN then it has LSD.
