Default Need advice for limited slip rebuild

I just got done reading a different thread on limited slips and found out when jacked up both tires should spin the same way, mine doesn't. I have a limited slip. According to this forum that means that the clutch disks are shot? I need some advice. Can I drive it in this condition? Where should I get parts from, ect. Thanks for any input you may have!

yes you can drive it this way, however i have to ask what makes you think you have a lsd? (did you get a build sheet that says it, open up the diff and see the clutch packs....)

ok first off get the build sheet anyways just to be sure... here's a site... enter your vin number and it will tell you... not as good as dodge's official one but it works...

http://www.compnine.com/vid.php?vin=1b4hs28n11f505789

i take it you blocked the front wheels, jacked up the whole rear end and put it in neutral... what did the tires do... you said they didn't... you mean they didn't spin or spin the same way... did they spin oposite?

Open the diff cover and take some pictures of it (especially really right behind the spider gears).

Sorry about the delayed response, yes i jacked it up and blocked the tires. They spun the opposite direction, it might be a week or so before i can get pictures though, it will be heavily used for a few days. Thanks for the link.

Yeah I ran my vin, 3.92 gears, 9.25 inch, corporate lsd. I don't know if it makes a difference but it has the tow package.

shouldnt... probably a good idea to open up your differential and take a look inside... see if theres peices of metal or something... take a look at the clutch packs too...
