definitely sounds like it could be the new clutch needing to break in

also double check your owners manual, but your truck should have ATF+4 in the trans which is a 100k mile fluid, no need to change it out at 30k if there is nothing wrong

Previous shop thinks a heavy duty clutch fan was installed and is making the engine as loud as it is. Without even seeing or hearing the truck they described the sound exactly - a raging fan.

I'll hold off on the trans fluid swap as even though I go off road its not enough to hop on the Schedule B fluid interval if not needed and I know they new about the ATF+4.

at first i got the autozone fan clutch then returned it it it would stay on all the time i ended up getting a mopar and it works like a champ thank god for hookups at dodge
