Default Question about shocks

I'm fairly certain I need new shocks; front end bounces after bumps and back end can get a little squirrely in corners. Ride is generally kinda rough, and I don't really do any off-roading.

I am also getting a LOT of squeaking/creaking from the front end over any/every bump. Would replacing the shocks also fix this? Do bushings come with new shocks?

It may be that there are other bushings that need attention I guess, but if I can fix the annoying squeak by just replacing the shocks then all the better.

2002 R/T

Thanks in advance.

Shocks may or may not help. Check and grease sway bar bushings and anything with a grease nipple. Ball joints. Etc

More than likely it's the swaybar bushings squeaking. I just coat the bushings, and the swaybar ends under the control arms with anti seiz. Squeak Free.

If you're getting lots of bouncing from the front end, I'd look into new shocks. Don't go cheap though. I learned that lesson the hard way when I bought some cheapo Monroe's. Replaced them after 1-1/2 years with Bilstein's - which are absolutely fantastic! Check Tirerack.com

Monroe sensatrac's will only last you 2 years, not worth the $, I agree with previous post go with the Blistien shocks they will give you a nice ride.
