Default Can't Find Shocks Anywhere To Go With A 2"-3" Lift Any Help Would Be Appreciated!

Hello all I just purchased an '03 SXT 4X4 Durango 4.7 and I'm looking into getting a little bit of a lift to fit some bigger tires. My problem is I cannot find any shocks that have a 2"-3" lift. If this is already a thread I'm sorry I looked at a few and didn't see any threads that answered this question. Thanks in advance for the replies =]

Why do you want shocks for 2-3 inches? That won't lift you're truck. You need a ts lift and body lift. Neither require new shocks.

Lift it then take it to 4wd shop to measure. I run pro comp 3000s the 4 Wheel Parts store checked for height and width. Got them to fit with a narrow gap. 5/8" rod. You most likely can get away with stock shocks. If not add an inch or two to stock shock length. You want the shock near middle of travel at ride height. Remember your going up in the front it decreases your down travel due to bumpstops. Your not increasing wheel travel.

Lol thanks for the reply, I know the shocks won't give me the lift I thought once you get a lift you need new shocks to compensate for the lift.

You need new shocks if you do a suspension lift.

Sorry for the delay in replies, been super busy with work, but anywho Lift was pushed back as I got Drilled & Slotted rotors all 4 corners and pads as while braking started shaking horribly :/ But I will be doing a body lift not a suspension lift. So i'm guessing no special shocks needed. Any of you recommend Ranchero? I like Rough Country, but thinking about giving these rancheros a shot. Likes/Dislikes anyone?

Also I just realized i'm in the 1ST Gen Forum sorry guys lol
