2000 Durango SLT 5.9L won't start
So I was driving it no problems. Stopped at Advanced auto to get brake pads and when I came back out it would crank but spit and sputter and die. I was low on gas so got a bottle of seafoam and put it in the tank. I also banged on the tank. She cranked right up and I drove it for a week.
Over the weekend it sat and Monday morning it wouldn't start. Full tank of gas. Banged the tank and nothing. Symptoms seemed to point to fuel pump so I ordered one and installed it today. Same problem. Will not crank. No engine light or anything else.
I checked the fuel rail and fuel comes out, but slow, even with the key in the on position. Is that normal? I was expecting it to spray...
Suggestions?

in the airfilter box. and nwo i dont think so. not if it starts and dies right away. your worried about dry firing right? you said its getting some fuel so i wouldnt worry about being entirely dry.
as far as new pump its possible. have you tried hot wiring the pump to see if it works out of the truck?

Check the junction box on the side of the dash on the driver side. Ckeck the fuse in cav number 9, its a 10 amp fuse. Using a 12 volt test light or a DVOM and check the fuse to see it is blown. Also check the cav 1 in the PDC, that goes to the ASD relay which is for the fuel pump. If those are good, recheck your connection at the tank.
The fuses were all good, but I pulled out the #9 fuse in the dash and put it back. After that I had good fuel flow. Yes, it's supposed to spurt out the pressure check nozzle.
It started and ran
I'll see if it keeps running...

I would get some electrical contact cleaner and spray it in there and let it dry then put the fuse back in
