Looking for info on this area. The latch on mine is broke and the lid itself is pretty torn up, probably from the previous owner. I would like to fix this with a piece of plywood and would prefer to put the latch back on, but cannot find a part number for the latch. Any info on this would be appreciated.

I did post the information in the new member section, But I'll post it here too.

Hope these will help. Upper latch 5GK82DX9AB and Lower 5GK83DX9AB. These are Mopar part numbers and you may want to check with your dealer. There is another part number for the storage console, thats called a armrest repair kit. But i would need the vin number to look that on up. Because there are 5 different part numbers.

I know this is an older post, but does anyone have either a write up or pictures/video of the latch replacement? I have 3 donor latches that I can harvest but I would like not to destroy any of them while learning how to replace the one in my wife's '01 Durango.
