Ha Ha... well, no news is good news, right?

Thanks everyone.. I'm hoping to do some tune ups with a tax refund (if I get one). I will report back with what I find.

Cruise control wasn't the brake switch.... thought I would try it since it was cheap and fairly easy to replace.

As far as the other problem with it dying, it has started to miss while accelerating... like a hiccup ..not like it misses and runs rough.

Tune up, do new plugs, wires, coil, cap/rotor. I had this issue as well. It developed when my plenum blew, replaced the plenum and it didn't fix it, the tune up fixed.

Update: The cruise control was the brake switch.. I don't know why, but it didn't work on my quick test run last night, but works fine now.

well that 70$ increased to 74$ figured id replace the vacuum lines that i destroyed. That new map sensor has been working for 2 days so far running smooth all of my sensors have been run and no check engine lights. I bought some 1/4" (6.4mm) fuel line for my vacuum lines all they had at autozone. Still has an occasional Whistle like sound but is running SMOOOTH

fuel line is my preferred prelacement for the evap lines as i the system handles fuel vapors and the fuel line is more durable anyway
