I have a factory efan and removed my clutch fan. No issues. My AC keeps me cool in hot temps. But also it also may be the llumar tint on the windows.

But you should still get cold air even when sitting at idle...

I do, even when it's over 110 degrees and I'm stuck in traffic.

That makes sense now, but he hasn't posted in this thread for nearly 2 months now, so I had no idea what you were talking about

Just to update: I had got married, then kicked out of my mother in-laws apartment so I've been slightly busy in the last few weeks. But on a brighter note. I got a junkyard thunderbird fan for 50$. As I stated before. Installed it with some custom brackets I made and wired it into the oem wiring. Works perfectly. Keeps my durango about 175* on most days and no more than 195* I've not seen it above 195 unless I kick ac off and let the PCM kick it on at 220. Which it kicks on for maybe 30 seconds before It goes back off at 195* it's a great mod and would deffiantly recommend it to anyone.

$50 seems high for a junkyard fan, but as long as it works.

It had what looked to be a "New" autozone lifetime warranty motor on it. I wasn't gonna complain to much.

I guess that's a good deal then. I bought a new aftermarket fan the last tome and it only lasted a year and 21 days so I figured I may as well just get one from junkyard for $25 instead $80 for a new one.

Cutting down the shroud. I ended up cutting off all the tabs.

Brackets I made.

Installed without the upper shroud, Just to show how it installed.

Clearance between the pump and the fan.

Under the shroud.

Where I mounted the bracket.

Glad mine doesn't have that extra brace in the way.
